End to end
I’m Shafwan Ahmed, a Software Engineer at Famysys in Chennai. I work across the full stack with Next.js, React, TypeScript, Node.js and MySQL: designing interfaces, building the APIs behind them, shaping the data layer, and owning the work through testing, deployment and production support. What I care about most is the full path from a business requirement to something running reliably in production.

01 — How I work
A technically correct solution still fails if it doesn’t fit how people actually work.
I spent over a year as a ServiceNow Developer, delivering ITSM and HR Service Delivery: configuring Incident, Problem and Change Management, automating service requests with Flow Designer, building Service Catalog and Service Portal experiences. Working that close to business process changed how I approach problems.
The job is the whole path, from requirement to production.
Interface, API, data layer, tests, deployment, and the support after launch. I work across all of it because a feature is only finished when it is running reliably in front of the people it was built for.
AI belongs inside the system, not bolted on top.
Right now I’m going deeper into scalable system design and the infrastructure side of delivery, and into AI-integrated products where LLMs and retrieval-augmented generation are built into how a system works rather than added on top. I’m also extending into mobile development.
